Sharing Our Vision for Student Empowerment

At LIVE (Lerili Initiative for Vision & Empowerment), we believe that true progress begins when opportunities are shared equally. That’s why our recent visit to USAID, where we were invited as guest speakers to address a talented female audience, felt like a milestone in our journey.
The session was more than just a talk — it was a powerful dialogue about how women can lead Pakistan’s digital transformation. We shared the story of LIVE, its mission to provide students with real-world digital skills, and how these skills open doors to independence, confidence, and sustainable growth.
In Pakistan and across the globe, women often face additional barriers in accessing resources, training, and recognition. Many are told that digital skills are “too technical” or that entrepreneurship is “too risky.” At LIVE, we challenge these narratives. We show that digitization is not just about technology — it’s about empowerment, choice, and creating futures that women control.
Through our programs — the Creators Program and the Ambassadors Program — women can:
Turn their creativity and handcrafted items into income.
Build personal brand recognition on both physical and digital platforms.
Gain real marketing and sales experience through a personalized dashboard, creating portfolios that employers respect.
Access opportunities without paying exploitative fees or falling into the trap of fake training gurus.

WHY LIVE

The energy at USAID was inspiring. The audience wasn’t just listening — they were engaging, asking questions, and envisioning their place in the digital economy. From discussions about e-commerce to stories of young female creators who had already started their journeys, the session became a testament to the untapped potential of women in Pakistan.
For us at LIVE, this visit reinforced a truth we hold close: when women are empowered, entire communities rise. By giving them the tools to thrive in the digital space, we’re not just shaping individual careers — we’re contributing to a stronger, more inclusive future for the country.
We are deeply grateful to USAID for the platform and the opportunity to connect with such a passionate audience. The collaboration of organizations like USAID with initiatives like LIVE proves that together, we can create ecosystems where talent finds a stage, and where women no longer have to wait for permission to shine.
At USAID, we witnessed determination, curiosity, and courage in every question asked by the young women in the room. At LIVE, we promise to keep building pathways where that determination becomes transformation.
